Credit Control Administrator (Temporary – Home Working)
Temporary – 1–2 months initially
37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, with some flexibility on start/finish times
Pay: £12.80 – £13.85 per hour plus holiday pay DOE
We are delighted to be supporting a great client who is looking for an experienced Credit Control Administrator to join their finance team on a temporary basis. This is a fully home-working role, with all equipment provided.
This position would suit someone who is happy to hit the ground running and help clear a backlog during a busy period.
The Role
Reporting into the Financial Controller and Credit Control Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the wider finance team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Chasing customers for outstanding monies
- Handling a high volume of billing and invoice queries
- Investigating and resolving complex payment and invoice issues
- Taking credit card payments
- Providing excellent customer service and communicating professionally with clients
- Running Excel reports for the wider group
- Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc credit control administration and other financial related tasks
About You
- Proven credit control experience is essential
- Confident speaking with customers professionally over the phone and email
- Strong customer service skills
- Comfortable working with high volumes and prioritising workload
- Good Excel skills (reporting experience required)
- Able to work independently in a remote environment
- Available to start quickly and commit to the initial temporary period
